Biography M.Sc. Natasa Nikpaljevic

Director of MLRF observing at sea

I am the Director and Founder of the Marine Life Research Foundation, dedicated to advancing marine science and conservation. As a passionate marine biologist, I have been actively involved in research since 2016, focusing on cetaceans in Montenegro. Over the years, I have successfully completed four comprehensive projects in this field.

In addition to my fieldwork, I have contributed as a co-author to several scientific papers, sharing valuable insights and findings within the international marine science community. I hold two Master’s degrees in Ecology and Conservation Medicine of Aquatic Animals, earned from Montenegro and Italy, which have provided me with a strong foundation in marine wildlife health and conservation strategies.

My work is built on close collaborations and partnerships with numerous organizations and institutions at both national and international levels, working towards sustainable marine ecosystems and the protection of marine biodiversity. I am committed to mentoring and engaging future students and volunteers, sharing knowledge, and fostering new generations of marine conservationists.
